junior competitions

Hi All we took a group of our juniors to bloxham for the schools competition last year, but this year it is in doubt so the question is. Are there any other shoots out there that we can fill a mini bus up with juniors of all levels from national development squad to fairly new youngsters It needs to be within about a four hour drive of Exeter
We are looking for info on indoor or outdoors shoots and would be looking at bringing up to 10 juniors with about five support staff (drivers coaches scorers and some parents) after our last outing to the cleve juniors open I think it will be one mini bus and a transit for equipment

May be too short notice but we are holding a record status single and double nationals competition on the 15th July in Crowthorne Berkshire.
We are shooting all the national rounds which are good for the less experienced juniors as it is a distance down. Shoot is not just for juniors though. Entry form is on our website index.html.

Other good ones to put on the calender are the Lintman Archers shoot in May(used to be the Southern) Burleigh Junior shoot usually second weekend in June, Guildford Little Acorn end of June. Like you we usually go to Bloxham but I don't know of anything else for juniors on at about that time.

A good indoor shoot for kids is the Arrowheads Open Portsmouth in Barnet, North London. They held two opens last winter, one in December, one in March.

Very child-friendly (it's a school club), but dont assume it'll be an easy competition to win, as last years winner scored about 570!

It's well run though, and it'll definitely be on my indoor shooting calendar this winter.

Yes Bartoz did score 580 in beating me And yes it is a fantastically friendly shoot I will be taking my lad to it this year maybe even both of them.
Or in January you could try something completely different and come and shoot our GNAS INDOOR 3D shoot. Fun friendly and like nothing you've ever shot before indoors. Search for indoor 3D shoots and you'll see some photos. And its about the same distance as Bloxham was as well. For an entry form try Westcott Archers - Homepage
