Raffles revisited

Raffles are a good thing, fill in the time between end of shooting and results, add a bit of light relief, and bring the organisers much needed dosh.
However....
Last weekend's Junior Nationals was fairly typical. Lots of generously donated prizes, and lots of tickets sold. So far so (very, very) good (Thankyou). But there were so many "no shows" that, combined with the number of prizes, the whole thing dragged on...and on..and on, till everyone was a tad bored. So, can anyone suggest a way of speeding things up, without reducing the number of prizes? NB - the time taken choosing a prize does not affect the length of the raffle!

Great minds... I was thinking you could use a trebuchet to distribute the prizes

Ask if they just want to donate rather than actually get tickets if they are not going to be present at the end.
