| Visitor from France Last weekend our club had a visitor from France. Kevin is English so we could talk to each other man to man.(thankfully) It was refreshing to hear about the way the French do their archery. Very little red tape; in more ways than one. Kevin shoots in The Camargue National Park region and it sounds like a field archer's paradise. He has had little or no help with shooting his compound as there are no compounders nearby. However that doesn't stop him from shooting very tidy groups. He can come back and shoot with us again, and be most welcome, once he has mastered the knack of shooting much bigger groups!! ![]() We had an entertaining morning's shoot. Thanks for coming;thanks for your kindness, and remember where we are next time you are over. |
| Bit of a dodgy thread title Geoff!?

| thanks Geoff Yes was very happy to shoot in england for the first time and meet you and some off the other club members , its a loverly location you have especialy with all the other facillities you have there I'm surprised you haven't got people lining up at the gate and so close to some big towns down there, I hope next time the time spent shooting could be longer but being an infrequent visitor family comitments on this trip got in the way anyhow thanks for the group complement and i have to work on spacing my shots out more as my wife pointed out ( non archer) its awaste of paper to just use the peice in the middle!!! Any way first time shooting those distances I think there was alot of beginers luck. Did that guys baby arrive ok! |

| Hi Kevin, Thanks for the kind words. Yes, Brian now has a son, Zak. Mother and child are well and happy; Brian is very very happy. Remember, bigger groups save faces. Paper ones can be replaced, there's mine to save too.hee hee. All the best Geoff |
