July Nationals - Help needed

Has anybody got the copy of Archery UK with the July National information handy. I let my copies go to new club members and forgot to copy the information I need for the junior july national entry. Could somebody scan it and pass it on to me please.

Hope this helps!

GNAS July Nationals 2007 - Junior postal Shoot

The competition will be the same as last year. Archers shooting Fibreglass or Longbow may still shoot one distance "down"

All archers shoot the relevant National-type round at their club or in a competition and send in their scores.
Boys
Under 18 60/50 yards Round 1
Under 16 50/40 yards Round 3
Under 14 40/30 yards Round 5
Under 12 30/20 yards Round 6
Under 9 15/10 yards Round 8
Girls
Under 18 50/40 yards Round 2
Under 16 40/30 yards Round 4
Under 13 30/20 yards Round 7
Under 9 15/10 yards Round 9

Ensure the following information is clearly added to your score sheet:-

Your name
Your age
Your GNAS number
Your Club
Male or Female
Number of round shot (see above)
Bow type (Compound/Fibreglass/Longbow/Recurve)

Signature of person witnessing your score

Your address and phone number (in case of queries)

Scores to be submitted by August 10th 2007.

If a club is submitting a batch of scores, it does help to have a summary sheet with all the relevant details on.

The outright winner of the Compound and Recurve sections will hold the trophy for a year. The top three (depending on entry) of each section (recurve and compound) will receive the usual mini-salvers

The results will be sent out to those archers including a stamped addressed envelope (A5 or bigger), or give me an email address, and will also be published on the Web Site

Score sheets to be sent to:-
Nick Beeson, 5, Alexandra Place, Ilkley, West Yorkshire. LS29 9ES
Please mark the envelope "July Nationals"

Questions

What relevant National-type round?

How many arrows do you shoot at each distance?

Does Under 9 mean 9 and under eg. not 10 or 8 and under eg. not 9?

Any help with these Questions would be a great help to a novice organiser like me.

No shame there, except for the bloke what wrote an unclear instruction. It means the round in the "National" family (National/Short national etc) that is associated with the age group in the Rules of Shooting, itself not very clearly, in Rule 308. The list of distances in the earlier posting in this thread covers everything, though

You shoot 4 dozen at the longer distance, and 2 dozen at the shorter distance

It means aged 8 or under on the day the round was shot.

Preliminary results are now up on the GNAS website. I did have toothache when I proof read them. Any comments gratefully received. I shall post out results to those who asked for them in a few days, and awards will follow.

Thanks FF! Only thing I would say is that on the GNAS site is says "entries were slightly" - slightly what?

Sorry - I could claim it was a Northern idiom, along the lines of "they were a tad ilkley", but I am more upright than that. I blame overtype rather than insert - and rush. I trust the current version meets with your approval.
