Postage costs for a compound bow

I've got a compound bow (yes thats right, me with a compound bow...) that I want to sell.

Before I think about putting it on ebay or Archers Mart, I'd like to know how much the postage for it would be.

Has anyone any ideas?

Cheers,

Martin

UK Mainland by Parcelforce 24 it will be around £18

Certain Aberdeen and Island Postcodes + Northern Ireland it would be about the same price for Parcelforce 48 but it may not be delivered within 48hrs.

But remember to include the cost of packaging material in your postage costs BTW this is just for a bow, not for a bow + case + arrows etc

Sounds about right as the 24hr service is more expensive, but on ebay it allows you the option of 'get it fast' which some buyers like. Not sure if a 48hr service does - haven't tried it.

I've posted my bow a couple of times in the last couple of months, first class and it's been ~£7-9. You also have the option for an extra £3 putting £500 insurance on.
