Since talking to my friends (one world-class, the other longbow) I have started to realise that I'm not likely to reach those goals, and i'm not having as much goodness with friends since a personal issue last year. I'm not sure whether archery is for me anymore...
Any thoughts?

Picking up from the other posts:-
You are 15 it is part of growing up. I can speak from experience coaching another 15 year old girl who swings from wanting to give up to wanting to be world champion. Just keep shooting but at a level where you enjoy it. When the urge to shoot more comes back enjoy it as well. You don't have to think about 2012 or even 2016 you have lots of time yet to see how good you realy can be.
