Vegas flights/divisions

does anyone know how they work out what flight/devision you end up in after the 3 days of shooting??

it all seems a bit vague

I believe you are put into your flight after the 1st day of shooting according to your score

First you shoot two rounds.
Then depending on what your combined score is, you get "seeded" ie... The top thirty scores are flight one.
The next thirty are flight two, and so on.
The money is divided between the flights so that the top eight within each flight win something.
Have a look at last years results.Results

You were all in your divisions after day 1 last year

As far as I remember you only get put into a flight on the final day. I may be wrong but thats what I recall.
Just looked at last year and it seems that all three scores counted to the final positions.
Nope, just looked again and it is your first two scores that determine your third day flight.

Thats what I went for. Id rather have the chance to shoot on the same target as some one like your self or Magnus petterson. The money for recurve is alot less then Compounds so im going for a good target partners then a good result.

cheers folks. only just notived the flight things the other day and was trying to get a grasp of how it all worked, it seemed that they osrted them on the final day which was odd but its much clearer now

I still disagree.... if they are sorted after 2 days, you wouldn't have people shooting a lower score on day 1 then shooting to the best of their abilities day 2 & 3 in order to be put in a lower division which they can then win. Or is it a coincidence that day 1 scores are low for many cash winners??

They seed you after 2 days of shooting
