Beginners Training

Hi All

I am from Leeds and am after doing some beginners training.

I am on two waiting lists but have not yet heard anything.

My question is:-

Is there anybody who does private one to one tuition in the area around leeds/Dewsbury/Wakefield etc.

Can tuition for a beginners course be on a private one to one basis or does it have to be a 6 week structured course?

I have purchased my own equipment (list below) whilst I wait and have read Archery Fundementals in the meantime.

Chiltern phoenix cnc aluminium riser
KAP Limbs 68" 24lbs
Petron pro button
Petron magnetic arrow rest for above riser
Cartel championship sight
Fast flight string
xx7 platinum arrows
Cartel finger tab
Gompy bow sling

These have been put together by Chiltern archery for me inc the right length arrows etc.

So I am all excited and ready to go but can't find anyone to teach me?

Any Advise greatly apreciated.

Many Thanks

Richard

If Halifax isn't too much of a trek, we'll be kicking off beginners courses on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of April.

Not wishing to put a damper on your enthusasam but I would question whether you have been upplied the right lenght arrows as you havnt even done a begieners course yet and most peoples draw length increases quite a bit over the course get some body to check them for you if they are short and you draw one inside the bow you could get seriously hurt

Is the training a set lenght of time or untill you get to a certain standard?
