Missing, presumed....

Those of you who have read their Archery UK will have noticed the the minutes of the Operations Committee have been removed "by order of the board". You will also have seen Ann's comments on this.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? (I do, but I'll let others get the ball rolling if they want to).

I did read Ann's comments. I wholeheartedly agree with her. True I seldom read the reports, but they are (oops) Were the to be seen by those who have an interest.

I reckon these minutes of the Operations Committee have been kept back for "Elf 'n Safety" reasons...Read them, you might have a heart attack or similar.
Perhaps a Government directive, involving national security Or, have the disc(s) been lost?

Difficult to judge without more facts.

Trying to be fair to the GNAS board I would assume there is a good reason for them to be held back.....

Being more cynical, I hope it is not to cover somebody's embarrassment.

As I said without the facts it is unfair to judge, however Ann's comments seem to hint the direction.

The cynic in me wonders if it’s a way of hiding or losing bad news, by the time the minutes from one meeting are approved by the following meeting the events that are being discussed have occurred or are considered so far in the past that they can be written off.

Best wishes, Mark

Why does everyone presume the worst when something is "withheld" or delayed? What gave Anne the right to sow seed of suspicion? I thought it was very bad form. Are we not all trying to row the one boat in the same direction.

The Chair of the Operations Committee has always struck me as a women with nothing to hide and who works %^&* hard!!

I'm sure they will appear on the GNAS website in due course - the operations page could do with some content and that this "blip" is a breakdown in communications.

Having not received my AUK (in the last two years I've had 1!) what did Ann say?

I don't think she would have printed what she printed without a whiff of something being swept under the carpet.

The safe money is on a massive overspend at Dover.....

Perhaps the minutes were simply inaccurate and were removed in order to enable them to be corrected before any misinformation was given.

Perhaps the minutes contained confidential information not intended for public consumption.

Without having seen them, or being able to compare the new ones when they come out, who's to know?

Facts anyone?
