Antient Scorton Silver Arrow

I am the muggins who accidently won the Arrow in May last year. Amongst all the other organising-I have 130 odd entries so far-I have to turn out properly dressed. Can anyone tell me where I can beg , borrow, rent, steal or buy a green blazer?

Hi Drew
I'm entering the arrow for the first time this year. I kept an eye on Ebay for a green blazer and got one from eBay UK Shop - wholesale-clothes4u: Tops Blouses, Dresses Skirts, Jackets Coats They don't have one at present but give them a email, I found them very helpful. I'm really looking forward to the shoot, hope it goes well for you.

not knowing your...erm...proportions and or budget i have had a thought. you can get quite cheap school blazers in a huge variety of colours...

Boys Blazer (Superior Quality) - (Size 38-48'')

just 1 example but there are loads of others (but if you are over a 52" chest im stuck...ill continue to think!)

Just seen this thread and I'm also going to Scorton for the first time this year. I've only ever shot recurve but all the other archers in our club who have been going to the competition for a few years have tried conning me into thinking it is a St Georges tradition to only attend 'The Arrow' shooting Longbow! I've even had one lent to me to try out! It might be fun, come to think of it, as long as I can at least hit the target once. I'd hate to appear in the "we also enjoyed the company of..." section.

This is a sociable shoot with lots of history behind it; above all enjoy it. It will be fun(provided it doesn't rain).
