FrostBite Extreme

Dover Castle Archers field as of 11.30 Easter Sunday morning
started of with 3 of us shooting 3 dozen arrows, then there was one
(Round was Fita70)

'Ships...I see no Ships...'
Memories came rushing back of when we used to do the same. The 'Old Frostbite' for December used to traditionally be shot on 'Boxing Day'. The weather some years would make us wonder at the time if we were 'Mad'. Nowadays we know this was correct......

True Frostbite

We shot a frostbite on that day, 3 hours out in the snow with no gloves = 30 mins defrosting hands in warm water lol and trying to score with frozen hands is no laughing matter lesson learnt : take a handwarmer and gloves to wear inbetween ends

i must say that it wasnt as bad as that in hastings (amount of snow).
it was still freezing and seeing its been my first winter shooting i know that when winter comes around again ill be better prepared......NOT.

meanwhile at our state titles here over the weekend we were battling 36deg C and 75% humidity. sunburn and dehydration, still prefer it over cold,(thats why i snuck off to live here lol)
