Archery in this Saturday's Guardian!!
Keep an eye out for this Saturday's Guardian. One of the sports journos is doing a feature about archery as a family sport. In fact, they're probably at RRAC as we speak, having a lesson, taking the photos and learning all about archery.

Which Car? has also took a photo at our club earlier this week. They kitted out a chap in the chairman's L/B gear to illustrate a car they've reviewed, which they liken to be *as fast as an arrow*.

So lots of good publicity for Royal Richmond and raising the profile of archery! Hurrah!!

Well done RRAC, I might try and have a look out for it over the weekend. We had a TV crew at Cleve a few weeks back, no idea what it was about, but apparantly its been going on for some time.

In which case on Sunday I shall expect many phone calls from Grauniad reading Oxford residents asking for beginner's courses. Splendid!

You weren't there I don't think. No idea what/who they were filming, but they were at the opposite end of the line to me (I was shooting compound). Something to do with the juniors I guess.

I'm told the reporter and her family had a good session at the club yesterday, although we're not sure if the article will appear THIS Saturday or a Saturday in the future. Just keep your eyes peeled!

Meanwhile, there's a wee article in today's Richmond & Twickenham Times about the Pagoda Shoot!
