*sigh* the green of the trousers doesn't match the green of my top. *sigh*
tbh, the trousers don't look very good, but until my club/gnas sorts out their colours...they'll do.

A letter will be written to the GNAS stating such a fact..why not green, white and even blue trousers?
If they want to change the name of the society, maybe now is the time to make a sensible change of clothing rules. They could maybe ask the members, or even ballot them at an AGM.

Really... what's wrong with white trousers...?? If it's muddy just wear wellies. It's what I did at Cleve and my trousers stayed white.

What's more, you can buy wellies in GREEN!!!!

Boots and shoes aren't covered by the regs, so what does it matter?
What about gaiters? Never been challenged when wearing them, even black ones over white trousers.

Just to be unutterably smug, I have a pair of Emshorn White Bowls trousers, which I have worn to the last two clouts at Harrogate - for description of mud that would cheer a Somme veteran's heart read other threads. Now, these trousers are Teflon-coated, so come up a treat after one cool wash. Easy.

I've got white trousers, but not ideal for Devon Red mud..but the idea of gaiters is a good one even if I loose a lb through sweating.

I got a lot of compliments on my newly dyed green trousers. Of course, today we discussed club colours and saw a mock up. Not bad, especially when worn with black or white trousers.
