beats me- drawing compound arrows

beats me- why drawing compound arrows can be made so much hard work.

Forever we've been hearing 'put your back into it'.
So 'put your back into it'- utilise the whole trunk from the hips up, and not just an arm which can somtimes lead to injury and certainly is harder work.

thats my little insight for the day.

I don't try and muscle it... i just throw my whole body weight into it. My arrows come out fine.

A good puller can help. I really hurt my elbow early on pulling arrows. So actually taught myself to pull with my bow arm rather than my draw arm.

Also I got an excellent arrow puller which is just a rectangle of rubber (about £3 from perris) and out performs almost every other puller I tried. Also I made myself a rule if they don;t come out first time go two up. I don;t care if people think I am weak

A good puller & use the back, just like you are on the shooting line. Also, there is limited travel, so, should someone get too close, there is less chance of ruining your arrow nock in a human body
This works for me

PMSL yeah just like me and john willet on sunday. It took 3 of us to pull out some of my arrows on a new straw boss.

i have seen a compound archer grab the arrow with both hands - jump into the air - jam both knees hard against the bottom of the boss and pull his arrows VERY dynamically !
