| If you want to know who won the British Grand Prix in 1955 there are many places to find the answer. You can easily find out who won the FA cup back as far as 46BC!! But, does anyone know if there are records or data giving the placings of past British national archery championships. It seems to me that the day after any of our championships are run the winners are forgotten, certainly outside of the successful archers close circles. I know that there still a few members out there who can lay claim to a top 3 finish in both Indoor and Outdoor National Championships and it would be good to be able to browse through the names and have a permanent record. I have "googled" a few names but no history is forthcoming. This could be looked upon as an extension to OB's previous "hall of fame " thread, so any historians about? |

| Thanks Wendy, that is a good start, at least for the winners names. It would be good to think that among all the members we could compile a complete record. Please keep any new information flowing. If there is enough I will try to piece it all together. Sorry OB you start so many threads I just assumed........................... PS. See you Sunday ![]() |
