Because:
Eye to Scope 40 " Diopter .75 = 4X
Eye to Scope 37 " Diopter .80 = 4X
Eye to Scope 35 " Diopter .85 = 4X
Eye to Scope 33 " Diopter .90 = 4X
Eye to Scope 31 " Diopter .95 = 4X
Eye to Scope 29 " Diopter 1.0 = 4X
