The difference there FlightyRachel is that I assume that you dont turn up at the PTA socials or whatever and expect to benefit from others' hard work?
If you couldnt spare the time to do PTA things but spent hours in the pub at the after meeting boozeups, that would be different
Not being involved is not the same thing

It is sort of the same though, GA, in that I do go to PTA events (well, my children do!), and my child benefits from things bought for the school by the PTA.... I don't hang out with the PTA at the pub it's true.

And Pantherman....who CAN you mean??? LOL

My club looks like this



No kidding, it's really my club installations. It's and old photo, now we have a 120mts by 55mts field.

We also have a restaurant, a bar, a recreation room, bathrooms, a wildlife museum, a gun's museum, an armory....and lots and lots of space!!

P.S: we only have 10 archers in the club....but have 400 members, of firearms.
