Smile negativity in Threads

Is it just me, or is it a case that the number of negative postings has soared of late. I know that people have their gripes but one only has to start a thread about (take you pick):

Coaching
GNAS
X-10/Nano
all of the above

and suddenly it is a regression to playground mud slinging, negative comments and score settling.

I know that someone will say that it I do not like the threads/posts then do not read them but sometimes you have to sift through a lot of S**t before you find a nugget of wisdom.

Perhaps instead of sniping from the sides/background then it would be better to take action, get involved etc in order to try to change things from the inside (if possible).

The challenge I lay down to you all is: Lets try to keep things a bit more positive going forth.

my philosophy is - if you're willing to complain and make a fuss, you must be willing to do something about it.

I could not agree more, but for some it seems that the easy option (moan, groan, snipe) is where it begins & ends.

Not limited to this forum as it is not uncommon in clubs either

ha just realised who mk1 is.......your far to sensible to be on here...

just realised who hypertiger is too.......errrrr hhmm.

the trouble is not the thread question being asked. its the idiotic replies that send people into the moan n groan syndrome.

i've had better conversations with my 90 year old deaf neighbour. than some of the posts that have been put up.

were here to help...but life goes on and its a laugh a minute innit...

Most of the gripes i've read recently have been about coaching/gnas

Havn't read anything about X10's/nanos for a while.

All the coaches need to re-evaluate what they are doing, because im pretty sure regardless of who is in the right in the argument that only they all seemed to understand (if anyone was), they were not at all inspiring any confidence from anyone in their abilities... In fact the coach I would have least confidence in is the coach who is quickest to get into a slagging match with other coaches... which was quite a large number from this forum

Some refrained mind.

The ones that did refrain probably realised hmmm... is a trait of a good coach someone who argues with other coaches online...?... no... and probably stuck to spending their time coaching... rather than arguing about coaching and not doing any coaching at all... for all the talk of coaching, it did seem like alot of air...

I would have alot more respect for a coach that did not get involved in the arguments at all

Sadly Leo, I think you have to substitute 'should' for 'must'. If the world worked the way you want it to it would be a much better place...

Every one is uniquely individual and genes prove that so paople will always make there point heard and people will not agree with them so agree to disagree if you know what I mean everyone is entitled to their opinions and what some might see as sniping looked at from outside the box (lol) looks quite different.(that is my opinion)
