| Combat Boots! They give support up the mid calf to keep you stable and improve posture, are worn in til comfortable and are waterproof to 'aid concentration'. Full leather uppers mean they breath in warm weather! What more could you want? (or am I just being cynical?)

| Well, as a Classicist, I couldn't let that one pass by. Yes, it means "exact" or "accurate", but tends to be in a pernickety, over-pedantic way (rather like this post). So "nit-picking" would be a better translation. Later, the word was used to mean "miserly". So Nike have now announced the "Nit-Picking Cheapskate" shoe for archers. Which can be not too far from the reality. ![]()
