now, not that im a trainer geek....really!

i think they are unlikely to be available until well after the olympics and then probably in tiny numbers...unless im being a total cynic.

...its just the level of detail that they have gone to (eg chinese silk bag to keep your wushu shoes in) reminds me of the harder to get adidas adicolour W1...by the time the series got to W5 joe public could get them without queueing for 2weeks outside an obscure shop in sanfransisco.

i hope im wrong and they'll just release them after everyone has ooh'd at the olympics

I agree. There's no way the public will see these before the Olympics. Perhaps we should all email Nike and tell them how much we want a pair!

okay, not being funny, but if you could buy these, would you?? i mean, really? can it actually make that much of a difference what you put on your feet as to what goes into the shot? is a slightly more stable foot stance going to give you a smooth, consistent release?

not that i'm cynical about this or anything.

Well, in effect, yes, a more stable foot stance is the root of a stable "whole body" stance, which is the basis of good form, culminating in a smooth, consistent release! imho.

Crikey CG - you were paying attention in class!

I certainly wouldn't expect them to be within reach of a 'cheapskate' if/when they do appear - far more practical for most would be to look at the two highly regarded products from which they were developed (or indeed the former hybrid of these two).

The principle of having footwear that helps you balance is perfectly sound. I'd just buy similar shoes from a company with a less dubious reputation.

If we stopped buying from companies with dubious reputations... we would take ages to find what we wanted!!
