A piece of cake?

Well, today will be a noteable day for Arrowhead, for we will be in receipt of the next batch of target faces and as such for the first time since starting the target face project, we will have a full list of FITA Target Archery faces. For those who know the story concerning the faces saga, today is a milestone for it really has taken 6 years to arrive at where we are today. Yes, 6 years..6 years to print a load of coloured circles on a piece of paper or plastic..you would not believe how difficult that has been..and at what cost.

So in celebration, I will get myself a piece of cake and enjoy the moment when they all get unloaded and stored in our unit..that is..if the truck bringing them down doesn't crash..which it probably will if it is anything like how the last 6 years have unfolded.

A piece of cake, it hasn't been and for those who read this who have supported us throughout the last 6 years, thank you, thank you very much indeed.

Well done!

Have two pieces of cake..

Oh and a beer to wash it down with, of course!

Now - does your inventory include the hit/miss faces?

Well..you are never going to believe this but......when in the village this morning I decided on the biggest jam doughnut they had rather than my usual Chelsea Bun with icing. Guess what? No Jam. Never mind..a phone call shortly afterwards came in with a very nice order for faces so lunch wasn't too bad afterall..and even FBWhiteheart had a chat about faces..so maybe I did have jam on it afterall. I think I'll stick to my iced Chelsea in future..at least you can see how big they are!

Thanks for all your kind comments and thanks for your support..I never thought today would come..the printing industry that we have come across to date, have a lot to answer for but it now looks like we have found a good crowd who take an interest in their quality of work, which is, of course, the target faces that you and I shoot at. The owner of the print business and his son are International Sports people and can appreciate the high standards I've demanded and have come up with the goods despite a few issues along the way.

All I have to do now is get our new Waterproof one sorted....nearly there!

Oh..and Murray..concerning the Hit and Miss face..in your instance..just stick up a normal target face.
