I've had a trimlite since I started 3 and a bit years ago and it has happily stood up to heavy use and rough treatment. On the other hand if Old Bloke's quivers are as good as his chest guards they're worth paying a bit more for

Old Bloke - a pm is winging its way to you

I didnt realise the Beiter armguards came in SOO many different colours, are they suitable for a beginner? Ive only ever caught my arm once and that was when I was trying to shoot left handed Where can I get the other colours from?

The beiter is suitable for anyone where minimal contact if any is made

also useful for reprimanding those of us whose form occasionally lapses - i soon know if ive gone off line when wearing my beiter armguard as opposed to my full length one !

as someone who recently finished my beginners course im glad that i went for a bigger arm guard than the beiter because it offers (a little) more protection when i have a brain spasm.

i have something like the neet one although i have had a problem with it wearing through the club bows centre serving (now has a ducktape cover... ive never seen ducktape in pink)....also if you really catch your arm then it swells through the gaps......you do get a cool suntan though!

Well Ive ordered my first piece of archery equipment a black with pink trim Deluxe quiver from OB so not one of my original choices but ticks every single one of the boxes and just what I wanted.

Im not going to get a Beiter arm guard yet, Ive been using a full length club one, so to go from that to a little tiny one, might be a bit ambitious and a twanged arm is not a good look. But I still cant decide between the Neet one, or the black one - although I could get some pink elastic for the black one.....

You'll certainly be very happy with your OB quiver

As Tracey says, you'll love your ArrowheadUK quiver. I have a purple neet armguard, which is wider than the Beiter, but is light and gives coverage, if that's any help.
