I agree - the castle would be formidable, and plenty of space for seating (they could just leave up the seating from the Edinburgh Tattoo ).

I did hear someone else mention Princes Street gardens as the venue... someone who is actually involved in the discussions

But of course that may still be a wicked rumour

Normally, a live feed on satellite uplink is supplied from a World Cup Grand Final.

Odds are you will be able to watch it in the UK.
