I agree fully with the above. All items should be as per agreed sample.
Never accept 2nd best as others have said as that sends a clear message that your a soft touch. There may be a next time!!!
Mistakes can be rectified but not at your expense, this includes the postage charge if there is one.

Had a very similar situation recently where our polo shirts, fleeces and jackets were all embroidered on the left breast, although I had clearly requested, in writing, right breast.

The company concerned simply apologised and redid the order completely. I would like to say correctly, but they again managed to embroider the polo shirts on the left.

Currently awaiting for these to be redone correctly.

How about telling them that rather than reject the order outright, you'd be happy to pay cost price for the jackets. That way they don't have to scrap the jackets and you get a cheap deal, they keep the business and you don't have to start again with the sourcing... win win. win.. er win.

i would expect them to replace the faulty ones . asap. but are you in a position to buy the faulty ones at a greatly reduced rate.

Just to draw a line under this one -
The company have accepted an offer of just below 50% for the affected items - which is roughly the cost of the garment. Personally I think that is quite reasonable ( shame mine wasn't one of them!).
