Perhaps they got Grantham and Grantown-on-Spey mixed up

Seems to have been a media blitz on archery today as the piece on Sky News was the best bit of news reporting on the Olympic archery team I have seen.

If you press the red button on Sky News and go to Sport you will see they are running the story all day on repeat from their training camp in Macau.

shame they spoiled it by dunbing it down with so many references to King Harold, Henry 8 etc. The interviewer doggedly pursued this line throughout. At least they covered the archery, so that is a plus!

When is the last time a footballer was asked about kicking the heads of the dead through Florence etc.?

Most pro footballers would have only heard of Florence in the context of the 'Magic Roundabout' so perhaps interviewers know to avoid anything too complicated when interviewing them

I always thought he was born in Scotland. He came up to the Banchory Double Fita probably in 1993 to pay a visit. The Banchory shoot is mid July, but my recollection is that he was just back from the Olympics so the dates don't tie in. I'm sure some Scots of my archery generation will remember better than me.
