| Has anyone got? I'll put this in the Archers Mart, but thought I would put the feelers out here first. For one reason and another finances are extremely tight at the moment for me, life isnt going too well, combining work, single parenthood and a rather nasty ex husband is taking its toll and archery is the only thing thats keeps me going at the moment. Lets just say that being 'in the zone' is a far better place than in reality lol. Ive been using a club bow since I started back in June, but due to a large number of new beginners and the other people I started with sporting new bows, Ive been prodded to get my own, which is fair enough. I dont want to be in the situation of having to give up something I love because of lack of equipment through lack of finances. Ive got to be 'measured' properly, but what I have been using is a RH 66'' length bow and 24lb limbs at 28" (have been using 22lb limbs but could move up). Has anyone got anything lurking in a cupboard that would suit - the lighter the better and that isnt so obscure/old that I wouldnt be able to upgrade the limbs easily, bearing in mind that Im on a really low budget - ie less than £100 Thankyou.

| Hey Janice ,whats your draw length and are you staying with recurve or would a compound take your fancy ? Does it have to be local ? Does it have to be a full kit, i.e arrows ,bag tab, bracer etc. I'm in Kettering,Northants | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Thanks for replying - Ive got to be measured properly tomorrow but Ive been using a recurve with a 28" draw length and will be moving up to 24lb limbs shortly. Its definately recurve I want to stay with (although I have tried compound). I dont need tab/bracer/quiver etc as Ive already got those. If there are suitable arrows or a bag available then yes please. Nope doesnt have to be local. Hope that helps. ![]()
