Sorry, that was a bit flippant - the 'rules and regs of shooting' are complex and tedious - the basics required to enjoy yourself, less so....

Buy a GNAS rule book, great bed time reading....zzzzz. I think they are about £16.00 direct form them, or better still check out the web site, links to the documents section will provide you with lots of rules that can be down loaded too.http://www.gnas.org/

The most important thing when you start is go shoot and enjoy yourself. Work on form etc. I tend to let others worry about the rules at present as I can learn then as and when I need them.

Most archers will politely point out something your doing wrong if it contravenes any regulations.
