Question newsletter materials
Hi,

I am looking for materials to put in a club newsletter. I have had little problem finding recurve materials but have really struggled to find articles relating to traditional archery (Longbow, Mongol, AFB etc). I have materials covering Recurve and Compound but willing to accept any suggestions for articles no matter wat the discipline

What about including whats going on in the club - achievments and the like? Up coming shoots. My club does one 1/4 and it tends to include that sort of stuff rather than technical things

Have some info on field archery if you'd like it

Here, here on an AIUK feature!

You'll probably want something specific to your club, though. Newsletters can be so dire and boring if there's too much reproduced material. It's nice to have a feature about a group or an individual in the club. A sort of "meet your members" feature about anything from the influx of juniors to the person who does all the behind the scenes planning, etc. And don't forget the photos! I think people find that more interesting than stuff they could find themselves on the internet.

I like the AIUK feature idea and the photographs too! We produce a monthly magand it can be tough going. I am particularly interested in making it more inclusive as it often has a (justifiable as 90% shoot) recurve bias.
