Guys/Gals,

What do you do about people (non GNAS members) who want to join your club towards the end of your season (when fees are due). Do you make them wait or is there some sort of pro rata method?

Cheers,

Beats

If I remember correctly, when we first joined P&S there was a couple of months left before the new GNAS membership year. I think we paid the full GNAS fee and a reduced club membership fee.

Do check elsewhere though as the memory isn't what it was*

*in fact, thinking about it, it's always been pretty pants.....

I don't think you can pro-rata the GNAS fee. Club fees are a different matter, that's up to the club.

On the other hand I think there is some sort of rule, where the GNAS fee paid part way through the season lasts for the part season and the whole of the next one (up to 18 months?). But you'd need to check up on that.

Give the GNAS office a bell?

If you register someone after 1st April in the year the GNAS runs for 18 months, we pro rata our club fees.

This is based on a conversation beats and i have just had.

I want to get back into shooting asap, my better half is booked on the chiltern archery beginners course, but i think all I need is a "refresher" to get me going.

I've been informed I need to wait till may to join my choosen club or pay twice once for the next six weeks and once again for this season.

All i wanna do is get shooting....and not rock the boat too much!

Forgot to ask Simon, is that you on the bike?

I could only ever get my right knee down, had to keep swapping sliders round!
