Outdoor shooting in winter

Today I started my outdoor season.
I was visiting one club in northern Finland. They have built a cottage what has four shooting windows. You open window when you want to shoot and close it when you go to pick up your arrows. Inside temperature was +25 C and outside -10 C.

Yes Timppa - it just goes to show that what we mean by 'winter' is not the same thing as you mean! Looking for lost arrows must be a real joy!

All I can say is 'God help the window cleaner!'

Looks awesome timppa

I've shot at the AIS facility where they have windows out to their target range as well and heaters above you. Nice.

How big is the cottage? How many can shoot at once?

I shot one arrow through target butt, it took 30 minutes for us to find it. It was 20 cm deep in the snow.

Cottage is about 15 square metre. (3m x 5m)
Four can shoot at once, four windows.
