didnt happen to me but to someone at the club:

you know ur an archer when you ask your parents for money for a new bow/bit of kit, they look at the bruises on your forearm and think the money is for drugs

you know your an archer when......

You sell all your gear...buy a longbow just for "fun" and then decide you need to buy all your gear back again because you miss archery so much and the people and the....well you get the drift...archery is a drug...very hard to kick.
