Your husband wonders why you spend ages selecting just the right type of dental floss when he knows you never use it on your teeth...

You start to develop a callus on the underside of the third finger on your drawing hand. LOL - is this normal?

It certainly makes fingerprint recognition awkward.

What is the correct term for 'doing' archery?

Arching? Toxing? (From Toxopholy), practicing?

I have never really known.

I would say "Depends how high your elbow is" It's all to with angles, Elbow, Wrist, Fingers. Perhaps size of your tab. Just a couple of thoughts there.
I think way back when, there is a thread on that subject. Try a search with some key-words, that might get you in.

You know you're an archer when....

.... you use Fastset fletching glue to repair your broken nails (of course it's the glue you always have hanging around).

(BTW, for the blokes who don't understand these things, if you get false nails on they use superglue to attach them and in the same way if you rip a nail you can glue it back together with superglue.)

You had a spare bow light enough to lend to your girlfriend so that you can teach her to shoot.
You then persuade her to take on the task of club secretary.
You buy her a longbow for Christmas, and when she gets good enough you marry her. (Now maybe I can get that married couple trophy)

Your favourite wedding photo has longbows in it.
