you're seriously considering breaking a promise to take son and friend climbing this evening cos the weathers ok (if a bit windy) and you want to shoot. God I'm a rotten mother.

Update

Now I'm really guilty. Calum in from school, pulled his hamstring running in Sports Day, can't climb so wants to go another day.

He's fine about me shooting tonight though!

In my drawer I have a pen made out of the rear end of a broken ACC.

You wished it on him Liz, didn't you??? Poor Cal. Still, he can go out and shoot now too, as long as you pull his arrows

Sorry - back on topic - you know you're an archer when...
  • Everywhere you go, you look for flat fields and sigh "that would make a great shooting venue"
  • Your cupboard is full of green and white clothes.
  • You have a clini-band in your drawer at work
  • All your workmates don't need to ask what you were doing at the weekend
  • All your friends know the difference between a "bullseye" and "gold".
  • or... all your friends are archers!
I'll stop there... !

You know you're an archer when.....

You no longer mind wandering round M&S or BHS because it adds to your detailed research about where you can get trousers in the right shade of green.....

...Your kids criticise historical films because they're using the wrong sort of bows (oh yes they do!)

...you buy broadband so that you can compare gadget prices faster
