Senior Team Outdoor Selection

I've just been looking at the GNAS website, the following is copied verbatim from the site.

'Senior Team Outdoor Selection Shoot
for The European Championships in Athens.

Any archers having attained the following qualifying scores for the Team Selection Shoot-off since 19th October 2005 must return their scores to Gary Carr at the GNAS Office before Tuesday 11th April in order to send an entry form.'

Have I got something wrong, or am I missing something, but are there ANY FITA stars or WRS 70M shoots anywhere in Britain between these dates?

I noticed that also... surely they meant to say 2004! They really need to start getting things correct more often....

I called GNAS to speak to Gary Carr on Friday to complain about this very thing. Unfortunately he was in a meeting and hasn't bothered to call me back.

Info published elsewhere on the GNAS site says "selection shoot...will be for those archers having reached the...criteria between 1st April 2005 and 30th April 2006...".

Seems pretty clear to me. I think they just made (yet another) error in their latest posting.

As it happens, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that scores could to be shot at any time up to 2 weeks prior to the selection shoot. Regrettably I can't find that particular article now, as that would mean the closing date is 6th May 2006.
