I have a astigmatism in both eyes and whenever the lens moves it goes very fuzzy and i cannot see the target and during a comp. it can be very hard to see the target. I would prefer not to wear glasses but have to when shooting.

So if you dont have astigmatism go for the lenses if you do use glasses.

hope this helps.

hmmmm now i'm thinking i WON'T be wearing lenses even after my optician has settled on a pair.

I had a recent trial where they just fell out radomly and this cost me one lense... I'm not even 100% sure i'll be taking them to be honest if they are going to fall out.

i have done the same recently and found that lenses are more comfortable.
also you dont get some times the rim of the glasses in your view

I never got on with contact lenses, mainly because of the astigmatism problem, so I've always worn glasses.
I wear varifocals (short sighted) and find that should I start moving my head position (I tend to raise my chin as I get tired) then the target goes fuzzy as I start to look through the less corrective portion of the lens. For some reason this effect is more pronounced shooting short distance rounds like the Portsmouth.
I've never fancied the "sports" glasses, partly due to the cost and partly to thinking I'd look a right **** in them!

Cost...? The frame cost me around £60, the lens is just a standard optician's one, so around £35.
Compare that to my normal glasses, which I seem to recall cost somewhere in the region of £300... And lenses, which were costing around £90ish IIRC for a year's supply... (at that time).

I do get comments about them, but the character of them is usually "what is that...? Oh I see. That's clever..." The box, on the other hand, never fails to generate a few off-colour remarks (the big red VARGA plastered all over the top...).

Surrey Guns stock them, I think:
http://www.surreyguns.com/spectacle.htm
Though it's not the model I use (gone through some updates since then, I guess). I bought my frames from them, some years back.

Gehmann in Germany seem to stock them as well, if you have no luck there.
http://www.gehmann.com/english_final/shootingframes.php
They both stock other makes of frame as well, of course.

I think this is the manufacturers website:
http://www.shooting-varga.cz
There is some indication that you could order direct from them, but I don't know how much hassle that would be.
