| If you click on Directory in the menu bar above then click on Community, you'll find links to several discussion boards. ALC is a very new one, certainly newer than AIUK. I like its intentions, but it hasn't really taken off yet. And no, there isn't much at all about recurves so far, apart from perhaps two threads. The answer to that is, join up and post some stuff about recurves!

| There's a little useful stuff on AT, but the signal-to-noise ratio isn't good. Archery-forum.com, the Aussie forum, is better. AIUK is a fun and interesting forum to be involved in. However, at the risk of being pelted with cake I have to say my favourite is still the Sagittarius board, although it hasn't been quite as good as late. Then again, its been around for a while and has always had its ups and downs. Each board has something different to offer so I think it's a good idea to at least read others, if not always participate. |

| With all due respect, some of the Transatlantic boards are led by archers/organisations/retailers who are into bowhunting and/or professional competition, so you will have a heady mix of testosterone, cam cream & red neck oil- and an abundance of colloquialisms drawn from the NBA basketball commentators' directory... ![]() |

| Archery Learning Centre was started by George Ryals who is a pro shooter for Hoyt but used to design bows for Martin. As such he was very active on Archery Talk, which is a forum hosted by Martin (the manufacturer, not some bloke called Martin ) As most people have found, Archery Talk is only tolerable in small doses, but it used to have alot of pro archers on frequently who would help out with tuning tips and technique etc.......unfortunately, due to the high a**ehole content, most left. Archery Learning Centre was partly started as a means to get those pro shooters, and more importantly their experience, back in the public domain. Archery Talk still has a valuable database of tips if you use the search function, but I think they have cleared out anything on the servers that was more than 2 years old. I've found most information I've been looking for on either Saggi, ALC or AT ![]() |

| althought i love forums.. and you likely noticed i do! hehe I'm not one for being a member of many to do with a subject. My grey matter can't keep up if I get overloaded on the pc as well as at home. I already visit a horsey one, a fostering one, and now an archery one.
