Hmmm.... I hadn't considered that.</p>

They spray a fair distance to the rear when... er ... nature calls, maybe 11/2 body lengths!</p>

#How big is your back yard? At an average mass of 1,720 kg and a stocking rate of about 1 per 40 000m2, although their terriories are up to 14km2, you may have to move out of that duplex... or consider supplemental feeding, which is approximately one bale of Teff grass hay per day...</p>
</p>

Not quite 14km2, but I was considering letting it just roam around Penwortham; there's plenty of grass </p>

RE: Game Prices

Dave,

yeh get all four; a small herd of wandering rhino is just what Penwortham needs. It would certainly bring down a few fences in the community.

Hopefully it'd take down a few of the nearby#Kingsfold Estate residents as well (not the nice ones - just the ones who: threw a brick through my elderly neighbours window (twice), snapped off my rear wiper, ran keys all the way down the back of the car, nicked my hosepipe and reel, smashed my wing mirror off, ran keys down my bonnet, covered my car with flour (it then rained and the flour turned to glue), kicked in one of my fence panels and totally destroyed the bus shelter down the road. </p>

I hope rhinos like rain... it always rains in Penwortham!</p>

RE: Game Prices

Dave

Judging by your description of some of your neighbours, it sounds like you have the makings of a pretty reasonable "Live Target Archery" competition up your way!

RE: Game Prices

It's a real pity that there were no predators on that list.# A few spotted hyaena would have been wonderful as guard dogs. They eat the evidence...

RE: Game Prices

I've got a Dobermann as a "guard dog" -- it doesn't eat the evidence, just slobbers them into submission then goes back to bed!
Anyone got room for a spare Dobie?
