Binoculars

I have a question on binoculars, i see a lot of people use scopes. I do have a set of very powerful binoculars that i can zoom. Can i use these at a contest, or not. i have done a search on here but still not sure if i can or not. .......Or should i just go buy a scope.!!! and if so which one. thanks

Alison Williamson used binoculars whilst winning her medal at the Olympics. Slung round left shoulder to right hip.

Cupid,
Assuming you're talking target archery??
You can use binoculars. I think some people don't get on with holding them steady enough to see the arrows properly, so use scopes, and others don't like the faff of getting binoculars off the clip/etc, and leaning into a scope is simple and possibly less time consuming. I personally use binos...

A scope is easier to use. Keeping feet still, crouch towards the angled eyepiece, spot your arrows. Keeping feet still, move upright and prepare next arrow. You keep your position and hands on the equipment. The view is clearer and more staedy. If you have to move your scope off the line, indent the ground where the tripod legs go for quick registration on you return.Use footmarkers to maintain your own position. Keep the bins for indoor.
