I've always worked on this formula for me: 270 + 300 + 300 + 330 = 1200 to get an 1100 I would work on: 235 + 275 + 275 + 315 = 1100 As Mick said, work on the 90m score. Darrell Pace was quoted as only practicing at 90m. He would shoot 30 arrows and try to score 300. If you have a weak distance, work harder at it. When I first started shooting FITA's I found I was rubbish at 50m (would score 270'ish at 70m and only 220'ish at 50m). I just practiced a lot at 50m 'till I found I liked it (well, convinced myself I could shoot well at it). And, as several people have said - get your sight marks sorted. It's very painfull to shoot a high or low 1 if the previous distance was going well. Simon |
