My first proper session (after my refresher course last week)

Was knackered after, but excellent morning's work, techniques coming back, although compound techniques is a little different to the recurve i used to shoot.

On the upside, tried some superlite acc's which are for sale at the club second hand and they were great, checked the spine etc and was assured they were Ideal so i may well be writing a bigger cheque than I thought later this month! (although considerably smaller than buying all this kit new).


Just need to find a tru ball t bar thumb release now (I tried several and that was the most comfy and felt right).

Adjusted my launcher, got some sight marks etc...its all good!.

Just wanted to share.

Oh and the grouping was getting there, so much so i tore two fletchings off the old arrows i started with first three dozen! and put a big scar on the side of one...

nice but expensive groups...hmm..I could do with some of that
