I've managed a couple. Fortunately both were whilst I was getting back into shooting and I was shooting with Jazz arrows, so not expensive!

I hope that I never have another, as I don't want to have to buy new ACEs!

I've done it 3 or 4 times now - all indoors. Last time was in january '92 a week after getting a new set of 1914 X7's. Not happy.

The first time is the best 'cause you really feel 'good'. And of course you have the dilemma of 'do I leave it in - it looks so good' vs. 'but the other arrow is OK and I've only got 6 left'.

I shot the nock (plastinock) and 1/2 the end swage of an XX75 2114 off at 100yds at the Bucks County champs at ICI Slough a long time ago - felt good but was also cross the arrow was ruined (I did try to glue a new nock on but it was never straight).

Also shot the nock of the previous arrow when I was trying my Avalon riser down at Apps Court back in '96. Chap there was quite impressed (I'd only shot 2 or 3 arrows).

A chap at the club did his first RH at 60yds last Sunday (Blue 1914 X7's) - in the gold and very impressive.

Simon

(I really don't want to do this ever with my X10's)

Only done it the once, and it wasn't a real RH as it was in the red.

Just to confirm Grant's observation.

Not a RH as such. But I was shooting "Wand" @80yds with my Longbow, hit the wand with my 2nd arrow which then hung by its tip, my 3rd arrow split the hanging arrow,(I missed with all the others). On removing the arrows I had a "T" in my hand

Hope you had some biscuits to dunk in the "T".

I came very close yesterday. 3 arrows touching. would be impressive if all mine, but there was one of mine, one of my dads, and another compound shooters arrow. I think the first one was mine. Shame it was in the red though!!

Chris

by the way, the target was at 80 yards!
