Robin Hood

Silly session time lol
so far I have shot one robin hood, it was indoors at 20yards, and I was sat at my desk, wondering how many of the forum have shot robin hoods, and when and where.
I have seen one guy at my club shoot six robin hoods inside with his recurve, thats over the last indoor period.
So over to you folks, (but lets not have any fisherman tales here please,) lol

Got one (my first) this indoor season - thankfully shooting my ACE into the back of a cheapo Secura carbon club arrow, so my arrow was relatively easy to extract undamaged... there's photos of it elsewhere on the forum...

I made 2 wooden arrows out of 1 at 80 yards last week. Damaged 2 of my own nocks, destroyed a few club arrow and holed a few fletchings.

My first ever RH was soon after Christmas using a friend's brand new X7's. He had them as a present and hadn't shot them himself at that time.
X7's were the best at that time so that made it even worse.

I´ve been shooting 29 years without RH. I have broke lots of nocks and shafts, but never got RH.
I hope, that someday I will get my RH.
I was close 23.4.2006, 70m.

Done a couple, one for TV, but that was only at about 10 yds, another was at a display, and doesn't quite count, but good enough for me. I was competing in a speed shoot against a crossbowman, he put a bolt into the pinhole, and I split his bolt with the next arrow. It certainly impressed the crowd

I got mine 2 weeks ago in Gurat in France.

First end at 50m with a new rest, checking I had it in the right place. Trashed 2 ACC's.

Got close giving a demo to the beginners.

1st shot OK. 2nd shot rattles in next to it. 3rd goes down between the two, and the pile folds the shaft of the first one just behind its tip. Unfortunately, sight was off so all three were in the 8 at it was only when I pulled then that I discovered the shattered carbon and bent Ali.

Shooting ACC's at 10 yards = less ACC's.

Meta wasn't very happy when he put one of his own nocks about 5 inches down one of his ACE's at 30m over the Winter, making a nice 55" double fletched ACE. You still got the pictures Meta?
