Well, I've designed a few bits of kit - a sight, V-bar, sight pin... I want to get them machined but they are in AutoCAD at the minute. I can convert them to stereolithograph files which means direct input into a CNC machine but I don't know if they could be done by hand...

Are there no small machine shops local to you ? You could try the yellow pages chris

There are, but the prices they want to charge are unreasonable... and I thought someone with an interest in archery would be more likely to ensure things were done right, since they would better understand the end requirement.

The trouble is CNC is for large quantities not one off’s . It’s the setting up that takes the time and time is money chris
