I'm not a member of the Civil Service Sports Association, but I am a member of Crown Archers in Maidstone which is part of the Civil Service Sports Association....

Didn't know there was an archery part of any CSSA forum!

Alex.

I am an associate member of CSAA - not being a Civil Servant - take part in the winter pairs and of course the Adel indoor in January is also the Yorkshire CSAA shoot.

Longdoc, who is an occasional poster to this forum, is a member of the CSAA in Leeds, through whose good offices we are able to hold the Adel Indoor Tournament. He's also on the BoA committee, pm me if you need me to pass a message on- I'm not sure if he's responsible for the CSAA forum.

Don't need any specific info at the moment, just wandering if it is a large community or if I am 'one of the few'.

I'm not a member, but i've shot against them a few times in my guise as a Per Ardua Archery Society (RAF Archers) member at the RAF vs CSAA outdoor and the RAF Indoors this year...Sadly can't make it to the outdoors this year though.

Civil Service Archery Association (CSAA) and CSSC

Yes there is a Civil Service Archery Association - see the tournaments thread under Cheltenham where the Civil Service Sports Council Nationals were held a few weeks back.

There is a website at http://www.csarchery.org.uk/ for full details.

I am the Yorkshire & Humberside CSSC archery rep but happy to put you in contact with your local rep (but names are avaiable on the CSAA website.

We took on the Royal Tox this July in an annual match and won all three disciplines- longbow, recurve and compound- so we're pleased as punch!
