| I blame chaos theory. It was because a butterfly in Equador flapped it's wings a year ago and the effects have only just now reached my arrow. |

| Of course, since we shoot in the bottom of a quarry usually, all my sight marks are wrong for this field.

| All of these have happened to me at some time, honest!! Too hot, too cold, too windy, too foggy, rain, hail, sun in the eyes, not concentrating, concentrating too much, bent arrows, loose fletchings, spiders dangling off my hat, wasps landing on my arrow, Battle of Britain flight circling the field, bows exploding near me, mobile phones going off, shooting too many arrows and turning into a nervous wreck shooting h2h in the quater finals of the National Indoors dead even with 3 arrows to go.
