Distance Classification Scores

Some time ago I dug up a reference document which gave indicator scores for various classifications at each distance. I cant find the damn thing and wonder if anyone else has something like. I am mainly interested in York/FITA rounds for compound.

I tend to only shoot one specific distance when I go to the club (mainly time restricted and can't be bothered moving bosses). The list I had gave average 3 dozen distance totals for FITA (or imperial distance totals), that could be used to estimate overall performance.

Thanks
Max

The GNAS classification scores are available in the Shooting Administration Procedures document, downloadable from their website.

Thanks Merlin - I have those, but what I was looking for was what (approximately) those total round scores equated to, on average, for each distance in a round - say the three dozen total for a FITA at 90M. I have seen somewhere a list of distance scores - they are only a guide, but very useful.

this may help:

they're averages for dozens rather than distances totals.

Nice link Kevinh

An alternative view (THA) is that dozen scores at 50m and 70m should be about the same and for men the points difference between 70m and 90m should be the same as the difference between 30m and 50m. Handy for identifying problem distances.

so e.g. multiplying the average arrow score at 50m/70m by 144 gives you an estimated FITA score.

Perfect Kevin - many thanks! That link is virtually identical to the document I had in mind. Thanks also to Whiteheart - I never thought to cross reference the handicap tables. I will dig mine out and have a look.

Cheers
Max
