| What's your point? Hello well here goes my first question:- It seems there are limitations depending on what type of arrows we buy. I may be wrong but ACC's seem limited to 100gns whatever the spine, where the Navigator,ACE and X10 allow 120gns? Why don't easton make heavier points for ACC's? I shoot compound most of the time by the way. Other than tuning, has anyone noticed a better performance using heavy points? |

| 120 grain points are available for ACEs, I've got a dozen or so kicking about here... No 120 grain points for ACC - there is a 114 grain for 3-71s, but I think in general it's because they're heavy enough and the drag is bad enough that you don't want them going any slower because you won't be able to see the target... ![]()

| If you can't buy the point weight you want you can always use solder to increase the weight but you'll nned points with hollow insides/inserts. For example if you use the ACE screw in bulge points you can add solder to the insert (they only go up to 110 grain). It's a good way to iron out any differances in weight on the points so they are all identical. BTW it's a long job, but fun if you're analy retentive!! |
