| Um, it depends on whether there is anyone else shooting.
You can't just go and shoot as many shafts as you like, if it will slow down everyone else. On the other hand, the pace of shooting is dictated more by how many other people there are shooting, than anything else. More than one line obviously slows things down, but a single line will be slower (on average) than the slowest person shooting. And then there is looking for arrows.
Pushing the pace with very few people shooting, you can complete a York in around 3 hours, which makes 1 hour for a Warwick quite feasible. I can recall thinking (back when I was at Uni) that 1 1/4 hours was an average sort of time for a Portsmouth, with a number of us shooting. But as I said, it depends on who you're shooting with. Recently, On normal club nights, I've been managing 10 - 11 dozen in about 3 hours, but some of that has been close range blank-boss. |
