Junior sponsorship

Does anyone know of anywhere to get sponsorship (excluding catch sport). Most sponsorship deals i have found require the person to be in the national team or at least in county/region teams. As i am now turning to shoot compound, i dont have enough money to buy a setup, and my recurve kit won't fetch enough money to cover the compound. At the moment i cannot find a part time job anywhere and they do not pay enough. With Catch Sport, i registered, but i have not filled in the profile as they want to know alot about you. Any help would be appreciated.

Chris

Bow companies won't look at you until you're shooting to the level you mentioned in your post, but if you put together an archery cv (all the tournements you've done and how you ranked, things you have done for the archery community etc) and approach various archery shops, you may find someone willing to sponsor you and through that would recieve certain benefits like X% off kit, but that will vary from shop to shop.

There are always local buisinesses, you would have to approach them, which I believe is what the Catch Sport site offers to do, these would probably help with funding depending on what sort of deal you struck.

Sorry, but no-one would sponsor you.
You have to be showing a lot of promise, and have some trophies to you name. You won't find someone to sponsor you just because you've decided to change disciplines.
The kind of people that get sponsored are winning big titles, not inter-club tourneys.
Then again, if you look at tennis sponsorship................
