If you reduced compounds to the X ring on 70M rounds, it would probably follow that for all outdoor metric rounds compounds would have to hit the X for a ten.............then whats going to happen if FITA or put the threshold's up for MB and GMB. Looking at the examples SimonW has posted, no one will make GMB without practically shooting a world record I'm all for raising the bar if that's the way the sports evolving, but I'm not sure restricting compounds to the X ring will be as easy solution as it sounds.

I wish, you need to shoot 90M or 100 Yds to get a Bowman with a compound (Long Metric, Fita, 1/2 Fita, New Western, New National, York & St George - as far as I can tell), going to get some practice with FITA and York Comps this year, not holding out for a bowman yet but the experience will do me good .

EDIT - Just done a quick check but looks like Recurve is the same.
